ALIZA ROSA SICKLE CELL FOUNDATION
Bringing awareness to the world

ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
Aliza Rosa sickle cell foundation is a charity to raise awareness and educate the importance of knowledge about sickle cell disease.
My husband and I decided to start this foundation because we lost our beautiful daughter Aliza to sickle cell, we wanted to project our grief in a positive way and help to educate and to help others in her Blessed memory.
Aliza Rosa Marcella Nortey 8:01:2014 - 2:02:2015 may her light shine on us and the whole world.

Tzedakah the very word that Jews use for giving
- tzedakah - encapsulates Jewish attitudes on the topic. Unlike “charity” and “philanthropy,” which derive from Latin words meaning “love,” tzedakah means righteousness, fairness, justice. The poor have a right to tzedakah and the donor has an obligation to give it - giving is an act to create a more perfect and just world, not a favor or a voluntary act of kindness or benevolence. Every person is created in the image of God, and thus must be treated with equality and empathy.
Born and raised into a jewish family we emphasise on Jewish values and good mitzvah.
